JP People Solutions training is tailored to suit your business. We consult with you to ensure we understand your requirements before tailoring a programme and we follow up after an intervention, either through a workshop or online management tools.
Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
At JP People Solutions we deliver our training with OPP licenced facilitators of MBTI. Our training and workshops are both fun, interactive and relevant to your organisation. Our experience in the field has uncovered that many of the difficulties that exist within teams arise from them not understanding the genuine differences in personality type. By understanding your own type and that of your team members it dissipates conflict and leads to inspired and confident teams.
The four areas we look at are:
- How people are energised in one of two distinctly different ways
- How people gather information in the world in two distinctly different ways
- How people make decisions in two distinctly different ways
- How people plan and structure their lives in two distinctly different ways
When we facilitate a team building or other MBTI type workshop, the reactions of participants to the different ways in which people think and structure their world is profound. They leave the workshop or team building with a much deeper understanding of how the other members of their team 'tick'. And of course, they are accepting of and intrigued by the changes. MBTI enhances effective communication in an excellent and profound way.

Introduction to Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
NLP is the most powerful way to understand how to communicate. It encapsulates how humans patterns their thoughts, their actions and ultimately their feelings and beliefs about events. It looks at how to model excellence wherever you see it and it produces the most amazing results in both your professional and personal life. An idea of the core themes in our Introduction to NLP programme would be:

The Emotionally Intelligent Manager
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is now recognised as one of the single most important factors in excellent leadership and management skills. Emotionally intelligent managers are more productive and far less likely to 'burn out'. Their teams are motivated and inspired and therefore more productive. In leadership positions, over four-fifths of the difference between excellent and average leaders is due solely to emotional competence (Goleman 1998). This programme focuses on the impact of EQ and why it can matter more than IQ. The workshop will help you to understand the characteristics of an emotionally intelligent manager and give you the techniques associated with EQ.
Stress Management
Workplace stress levels are at an all time high. More demands are placed upon us and the pace with which we are expected to work is ever increasing. This workshop looks at how, as a manager, you can manage that stress and find coping mechanisms for you and your team. This workshop is highly participative.
Assertiveness
This workshop concentrates on your style of communication and will help you to communicate effectively in both your personal and professional life. You will learn the skill of assertiveness and weave it into your natural communication style. This workshop uses NLP skills and MBTI and is highly participative.
Managing Yourself
In an increasingly busy world this workshop is invaluable. We work in a more matrix management way - fantastic - but needs to be managed so that there is clarity over roles and accountability. How do we manage ourselves in this as well. This workshop covers time management, assertiveness, goal setting, advanced communication skills and the skill of self managing. It is highly participative.
Getting the job you want
This workshop looks at advanced interviewing skills and how to manage your nerves and produce an excellent state of mind before an interview. It uses NLP techniques and is highly participative.
Managing your work life balance
With the longest working days in Europe and twenty four seven access the office, it can be a tough call to manage the delicate balance between professional and personal life. This workshop examines how to be really effective and 'present' when you at work and how to be equally effective and 'present' when you are away from work. The result is a happier and more productive employee. This programme is highly participative, uses NLP and goal setting techniques.
Conflict resolution
Conflict in the workplace has increased phenomenally and the skills required to manage it have not caught up with the demand. This programme looks at the causes of conflict, your reaction to conflict, how conflict escalates and the core skills and processes required to manage conflict. We also look at various ways of dealing with challenging behaviour and situations in an organisation. This programme is highly participative and involves NLP techniques.
Introduction to Management
The first step from staff to manager is probably the biggest psychological jump an employee will make. This programme arms new managers with the latest proven management theories, NLP techniques and equally importantly the ability to manage in an Emotionally Intelligent way. We also teach the skill of coaching in this workshop.
Influencing Master class
This master class gives participants the opportunity to learn, and use appropriate influencing behaviours when interacting with people individually, within a team or more formal setting. This workshop uses NLP and MBTI and is highly participative.
Change Management
Most organisational effort goes into the tangibles of managing change - policies, procedures, working practices, reorganisation charts etc - but little goes into the emotional transition: feelings, anxieties etc. This can lead to fear, mistrust and rumours. It is here that organisations face the biggest stumbling block. This workshop looks at how you can recognise these feelings in yourself and your team and how to make the transition as smooth as possible by understanding where is team member is in the transition and keeping communication as open as possible.
Co- coaching for success
Coaching is a wonderful and transformational tool for managers. We have extended that in this workshop to look at teaching coaching in peer groups. Recent research has shown that self facilitated peer groups have an incredibly motivation effect not only on themselves but in the wider context of the organisation. This is a highly participative workshop that uses NLP tools and techniques, including modelling excellence extensively to achieve amazing results.
